What is PocketPEP therapy?

The iPEP® with PocketPEP® Advantage is a prescription two-in-one device that combines incentive spirometry with oscillating positive expiratory pressure therapy (OPEP), the only two-in-one product on the market.

PocketPEP® & PocketPEP® Advantage

Oscillating Positive Expiratory Pressure (OPEP) Therapy

PocketPEP®

  • Studies indicate superior performance in secretion clearance
  • The PocketPEP® Advantage is the smallest OPEP available, less than half the size of other products, making patients more likely to continue with use on a regular basis
  • Reduce patient length of stay in acute settings when OPEP therapy is used by mobilizing secretions and reducing the risk atelectasis
  • Reduce risk of pulmonary complications post discharge with continued use of the convenient OPEP therapy at home
  • With only one moving part, the PocketPEP® Advantage is easy for patients to operate and clean
  • The PocketPEP® Advantage is available separately and as part of the iPEP®

PocketPEP® Advantage

  • The patented PocketPEP Advantage is designed to attach securely to standard Incentive Spirometers or it can also be used independently
  • The PocketPEP Advantage enables clinicians to set a volume target and measure the patient’s slow inspiratory breath volume unlike traditional OPEP therapy which lacks the capacity to measure volume
  • The slow inspiratory breath combined with the PocketPEP enhances Expiratory Flow Bias (EFB), proven to mobilize secretions more effectively.
