What is PocketPEP therapy?

The iPEP® with PocketPEP® Advantage is a prescription two-in-one device that combines incentive spirometry with oscillating positive expiratory pressure therapy (OPEP), the only two-in-one product on the market.

The PocketPEP® Advantage can be used alone or in conjunction with the iPEP® Incentive Spirometry device. Specifically, the PocketPEP® Advantage is responsible for creating vibrations within the lungs to loosen mucus.

  • For Oscillating Positive Expiratory Pressure (OPEP) Therapy AND the ability to measure volume for enhanced secretion mobilization
  • The patented PocketPEP Advantage is designed to attach securely to standard Incentive Spirometers or used independently
  • Unlike traditional OPEP therapy that lacks the capability to measure volume, the PocketPEP Advantage enables the clinician to set a volume target and measure the patient’s slow inspiratory breath volume
  • The slow inspiratory breath combined with the PocketPEP is proven to mobilize secretions more effectively. (see clinical information)
